For some tests a rubber packing is required to cover the sector. This depends on the test and used printing disc.

The substrate is located on a substrate carrier that is placed on the substrate guide between the printing form and the impression cylinder.

The substrate carrier consists of a plate with a rubber blanket strip on it. The substrate is mounted with the side to be printed upwards, with a piece of tape on the blanket of the carrier.
